about

Former darlings of the late great BBC Radio legend, John Peel and Morrissey. The Would Be’s spark was rekindled in 2012 by two fantastic singles - ‘Ivy Avenue’ and ‘Let’s Play Dumb’. For a band that has consistently produced the goods when delivering near perfect indie pop 45s, the album Beautiful Mess is a long-awaited step into the unknown. But The Would Be’s have been as good as their word by finally releasing an album of Irish indie that timelessly fits into 2013 as it might have in 1992..
